What the Mac app adds

Photographs from Photos

Bring in a shoot of a manuscript without exporting it first. Pangur reads the date, the place and the camera out of each image and keeps them with the capture.

Rotations you can undo

Straighten a page in Pangur and the edit is saved back to Photos, where you can revert it like any other.

Signing in

The Mac app has no account of its own. You sign in once in its main window, the same way you do here, and it works on the library you already have.

Updates

Pangur keeps itself up to date, checking for new versions and installing them in the background. Every update is signed, and the app refuses one that is not. You can ask at any time with Pangur ▸ Check for Updates…, and turn the automatic checks off in Software Update.
